˝I wanted to liberate Latin-American Indians when I was ten. I was dreaming of a city called Teclasán. We would have escaped and lived there in a spiritual commune with the Maya descendants. Now I live on this story with my daughter. We have the Mayas, the astronomers, the revolutionists, but we have real and imaginary animals, too. My daughter taught me the animals. I didn’t have them as a child.˝
